Our client is a PE firm looking to hire a Head of Human Capital to join their portfolio operations team. The individual will likely be a CHRO or senior HR professional who can blend operational, tactical, strategic and commercial HR practices and consulting to support the portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic human resources expert to portfolio company executives, internal portfolio operations teams, and investment teams.
  • Accelerate the scoping and execution of high impact human resources initiatives in support of the value creation plans across the portfolio.
  • Work alongside the portfolio operations team, investment teams, and portfolio company executives to implement foundational people, process, and technology with an emphasis on:
    1. Being a master of transformation effectuating process and behavior change across the portfolio
    2. Providing subject matter expertise and advice on high impact HR initiatives
    3. Managing internal, external, and portfolio company resources to deliver results, taking initiative and self-performing where required
  • Ability to pivot and counsel on all pillars of the HR function

Experience:

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or advisory capacity, preferably within private equity, management consulting, or multi-site/multi-industry environments
  • Prior experience leading the HR function for a busy, private equity backed business is preferred
  • Experience working within an organization growing through acquisition, as well as experience performing due diligence and integration activities
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic advisory with hands-on execution
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building processes, systems, teams, and culture around an open and participatory investment process
