Oakleaf Partnership are working with a well-established and reputable business in Warrington who are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join and support a busy team. The role will administer the payroll process from start to finish, support colleagues with any payroll queries, and work collaboratively with the wider HR team. The company offer hybrid working.

What is the role

As the Payroll Administrator, you will be integral to the UK payroll function and be responsible for accurate monthly processing. You will process new starters and leavers, handle queries from the payroll inbox, calculate wages and salaries, process pay rises, shift payments and overtime, issue related documentation and support with the resolution of payroll issues. You will also support with department projects for continuous improvement.

Candidate profile/experience

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent knowledge of end-to-end payroll, strong communication skills both written and verbal and have great attention to detail. You will have strong organisational and time management skills. You will ideally have knowledge of Workday payroll system although this is desirable and not essential.
