After graduating with an English Literature degree at Cardiff University I was unsure what next steps to take! I moved back to Manchester and worked in a customer service department in a call centre for two years to save money to travel. I then spent 10 months travelling from Mexico to Colombia before running out of money and having to return to the UK! I signed up with Forrest Recruitment as a temp and soon became a Recruitment Consultant with them specialising in Secretarial and Business Support roles across South Manchester.
I spent 2 and a half years with Forrest before deciding I wanted to work for a much bigger agency with greater opportunities and was attracted to Page Group where I joined as a specialist in Secretarial and Business Support once more. Following Covid, I was given the opportunity to move over to a Human Resources desk and I have never looked back! Following several promotions, I started to grow a team across HR and Business Support disciplines.
After nearly 4 years with Page and working with some incredible people, I have joined Oakleaf Partnership as a Senior Consultant to further develop my knowledge and specialism in HR recruitment and I’m very excited by this opportunity as we continue to grow our Northern presence from Manchester. I’m specialising in permanent recruitment on HR roles up to £60K across Industry & Science, Financial Services and Not For Profit.
Outside of work, I love to travel, exploring different cultures and foods. I’m also a keen hiker and love spending time outdoors. You’ll get to know me as being away every weekend spending time with friends and family all over the UK. I’m also always planning my next trip abroad… watch this space.
