Interim Benefits Consultant (Hybrid – Westchester, NY)
Location: Hybrid (Westchester, NY)
Contract Duration: 1 month
Compensation: $40 – $55 per hour (W2 via Employer of Record)

We are supporting a leading professional services business in their search for an experienced Benefits Consultant to join on an interim basis. This is a key project role to help review and refine the company’s current US employee benefits offering, and explain their current set up and payroll integration to their EMEA based HR lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review and summary of the current U.S. benefits structure – including offerings, processes, roles and responsibilities onboarding/offboarding/change processes, and payroll integration
- Benchmark the current benefits plan against market best practices and industry standards
- Create a detailed account of how their change to self-funded healthcare benefits model is impacting the payroll integration, and break this down for the EMEA based HR lead.
- Provide strategic recommendations for the upcoming financial year – including provider options, contract strategy, and implementation roadmap
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across HR, Payroll, and senior leadership in a matrixed, global environment
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in a U.S. employee benefits specialist or manager role, ideally working in a high-touch, global, matrixed organization
- Strong understanding of U.S. benefits regulations, compliance, and vendor management
- Technical knowledge of how self-funded benefits and health insurance impacts payroll integration
- Proven ability to deliver insights, strategic guidance, and actionable recommendations within short timelines
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, project-based setting
