I’m looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join a busy HR function in Manchester. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with a strong focus on supporting employees through their employment life cycle from onboarding through to their exit.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full onboarding process: contracts, background checks, right-to-work documents, and inductions

  • Be the first point of contact for new employees

  • Maintain accurate HR records and support general admin tasks

  • Work closely with managers to ensure a smooth onboarding journey

  • Coordinate compliance, training, and orientation activities


About You:

  • 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a busy, fast-moving environment

  • Knowledge of UK employment and onboarding practices

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office

  • Professional, friendly, and able to juggle multiple tasks under pressure
