As they continue to expand and invest in their people, they are seeking a seasoned Head of Benefits & Wellness to lead their total rewards strategy and ensure programs align with the evolving needs of a dynamic and high-performing workforce.
Position Overview
The Head of Benefits & Wellness will be responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and oversight of the organization’s health, welfare, retirement, and well-being programs. This leader will play a critical role in enhancing employee experience, optimizing benefit offerings, and championing a culture of holistic well-being across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, design, administration, and compliance of all U.S. benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, wellness, and leave of absence.

Evaluate current programs for competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.

Serve as the internal subject matter expert on all benefit-related matters, advising senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Drive employee engagement through innovative wellness programs that promote mental, physical, and financial health.

Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure best-in-class offerings and service levels.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA).

Partner closely with HR, Legal, Payroll, and Finance to ensure smooth delivery of benefit and wellness programs.

Monitor market trends, benchmark data, and emerging best practices to keep programs current and competitive.

Lead and develop a high-performing benefits and wellness team.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CEBS certification preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in benefits, wellness, and total rewards.

Demonstrated success leading large-scale benefits programs in a corporate setting, ideally within financial services or similarly regulated industries.

Strong knowledge of benefits compliance, plan design, and vendor management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Experience developing and scaling wellness initiatives with measurable impact.
