Drive High-Impact Compensation Strategy at a Global, Performance-Driven Organization

Oakleaf Partnership is working exclusively with a market-leading global organization to appoint a Director of Compensation. This role is perfect for a compensation professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments and wants to shape executive-level rewards strategies that align with long-term business goals.

You’ll be stepping into a mission-critical position with direct access to senior leadership, playing a key role in aligning compensation frameworks with talent, performance, and organizational priorities.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Be a trusted compensation advisor to senior business leaders, HR partners, and functional executives.

  • Lead the design and execution of equity and long-term incentive (LTI) programs, including RSUs and stock options.

  • Use data and insights to shape policy and influence decision-making at the highest levels.

  • Gain exposure to global compensation strategy across multiple business units, with a focus on high-impact deliverables.

  • Work in a culture that values analytical rigor, proactive thinking, and strategic collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with HR and C-suite stakeholders to develop and deliver compensation strategies.

  • Design and implement annual compensation processes: merit cycles, bonus programs, and equity grants.

  • Lead the planning and administration of LTI and equity programs, ensuring alignment with business and compliance goals.

  • Provide guidance on compensation policies, job evaluations, and market competitiveness.

  • Deliver training and support to HR and business leaders on compensation frameworks.

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years in compensation, ideally with experience at large, complex organizations or compensation consulting firms (e.g., Mercer, WTW, Aon).

  • Deep knowledge of executive compensation, equity vehicles, and pay-for-performance practices.

  • Strong Excel and modeling skills; experience with tools like Payfactors and Oracle Compensation is a plus.

  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders across functions and levels.

If you’re a compensation leader ready to take ownership of strategic programs in a high-performing environment – where your work will directly impact business and people outcomes – we’d love to hear from you.
