I began my early career in fashion at Harrods Department store, followed by a move into retail banking at HSBC where I stayed in their flagship branch until 2003. I decided to pack up and move abroad to the Canary Islands later that year and summer turned into over three years!
I joined Oakleaf Partnership in April 2007 on a temporary basis and soon joined permanently as London Office Manager. I was promoted in 2008 to become PA to the Founder & Joint CEO - Richard Colgan, while still maintaining all of my Office Manager duties.
I had a year out of the business whilst on maternity leave from June 2012 and returned to Oakleaf in May 2013 to take on a new part-time role as PSL & Project Coordinator. This was focused on dealing with all of our Tenders & Proposals for new business and reviewing our PSL & Business contracts and extensions as well as managing small client projects, RFI's and various candidate & client surveys. I took maternity leave with my second daughter in February 2016 and returned to the business in January 2017 continuing my previous role with a new title of Bid & Contracts Executive.
I love yoga, the theatre, live music and have a keen interest in food, health & nutrition.
I am passionate about giving back and in recent years have taken part in the London 10k (for Macmillan’s Cancer Fund), The Big Sleep Out (for Centrepoint- Young homeless persons charity) in 2017 and 2018 and the Moonlight Walk half marathon (for Breast Cancer charities) in 2018.
