I joined Oakleaf Partnership in April 2007 as London Office Manager and during the first year extended these duties to assist the CEO in a PA role.
After a year of mat leave I returned to Oakleaf in May 2013 to take on a new part-time role as PSL & Project Coordinator, then focused on managing Tenders & Proposals for new business and negotiating terms. The role also included managing projects & surveys and this naturally led me into an area which would become a real passion – E,D&I.
After a second year of mat leave I returned again in January 2017 continuing my previous role with a new title of Bid & Contracts Executive.
By April 2022, I was more than ready for a new challenge and so channelling my original ‘OP roots’ moved into the role of Executive Assistant to Richard Colgan & Gareth Evans and have also taken the role of E,D&I Lead for the business.
In January 2021 we formed the internal E,D&I Focus Group and we continue to meet on a monthly basis to discuss our strategy and plans to move Oakleaf forward in all areas of inclusion. In March 2022 we were awarded our Bronze Certification from “Clear Assured” – our first huge step forward. We are now continuing this important work and aiming to achieve our Silver award in 2022.
Downtime is spent with my family; we love swimming, mini-breaks and visiting theme parks! I also have a keen interest in Qigong, Yoga & Ayurveda. During my time at Oakleaf I have raised money for Macmillan’s Cancer Fund, MIND, Centrepoint, Breast Cancer charities, and most recently taken part in an internal challenge to raise money to support the victims of the Ukrainian war.
