After graduating from Leicester University in Management studies I went straight into working within the recruitment industry. I spent just under 3 years leading on a temporary desk recruiting support staff within the commercial sector. My move into Oakleaf happened in February 2008 where I became part of their relatively new team based in Leeds. Following three years in the Yorkshire market I decided to take the plunge and relocate to London. I worked in the permanent market specialising in the Technology, Media, Telecommunciations and Business Service sectors for 4 years before going back to my roots and leading our Interim delivery across the same sectors. I was promoted to Manager in our commerce business 2015 and Associate Partner in 2016.
I can’t say that I am best sports woman in the world but dancing and swimming are two great loves of mine and I will always have a go at the rest! I did however complete the Great North Swim 2009 raising over £850 for my recognised charity, Mind – so a big thanks for everyone who supported me.

The CIPD is urging the newly-elected Conservative government to focus on improving workplace productivity as pay growth remains low.
The CIPD’s latest Labour Market Outlook has found basic pay is expected to grow by 1.8% in the coming year, compared to 2% the previous quarter.
This projection is well below pre-recession levels, although the CIPD acknowledges falling inflation could have an impact on wages.

HR Ville has commented on the need for a link between HR and Marketing which for Oakleaf has manifested itself in the increase need for employer branding and engagement consultants.
From start to finish, Amy and her colleagues at Oakleaf were consummately professional, friendly and helpful, and provided a candidate experience far above anything I found at any other resourcing agency. Though I have a somewhat unconventional CV, Amy took the time to understand who I was, what I could offer, and what I was looking for - she advised on how to approach the market, and remained positive, communicative and upbeat throughout. Before and after each interview, I received useful advice, feedback and encouragement that was specific to the position and the people I met - it was clear that Amy knew her clients on both sides very well, and used that knowledge to ensure the process ran smoothly. I felt informed, in control and comfortable throughout. She also introduced me to her colleagues, and I felt that the whole agency was on my side! In hindsight, it is the proactivity and quality of communication that made the difference to me - little and often, professional but warm, flexible but knowledgeable - and how that helped us to establish strong relationships with the team at Oakleaf as well as with prospective employers. I’ve already recommended Oakleaf to a number of colleagues.

"Amy worked with me in finding me a new role in 2012. During this process she was helpful, efficient, professional and supportive, despite having to manage delays and ambiguity from potential hiring organisations. She works hard to look after her candidates and to deliver the best possible service to clients. I look forward to working with her to support our growth."
Charles St Aubyn, EMEA Recruitment Manager - JDA Software
"I contacted Oakleaf as I was looking to move into a new role but I wanted to work with a professional recruitment agency who deal with HR Professionals. Amy worked with me over the course of several weeks to prepare and place me in to a role that I really wanted. I appreciated the way Amy coached me regarding the interview process and she always kept me in the loop with regards to feedback and constructive criticism. The recruitment process can often be frustrating and daunting however Amy's disposition made the whole experience a lot easier to deal with. I am more than pleased with the outcome as her assistance with the process contributed to me being successful in my application and I am now in a role that I am very much enjoying. I have since recommended that other HR Professionals in my network contact Amy if they are thinking about a change in role as she not only understands business requirements, she also understands what a candidate is looking for. I will continue to keep in contact with Amy and would have no hesitation in working with her and/or Oakleaf again."

I found Oakleaf to be a refreshing change to the norm! They were very professional from the first phone call, giving me an excellent job description and a very honest conversation about my prospects in applying; right through to competently answering the list of questions I had when I was successful in gaining a position! I've found them very friendly and they always call back when they say they will! I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Charlotte Thompson - HR Manager
I would just like to record mine and Sophie's appreciation for the support of Oakleaf generally and you and your colleagues specifically over the last 8 months. You were able to give us good sound advice and support with potential candidates as and when we needed them. We found your approach to be always very professional, in particular taking time to learn about our team and understand the specific complexities in respect of our ways of working with our client base without being in any way pushy. I am sure we will continue to enjoy a good relationship based on trust and your understanding of our needs and we look forward to being able to work with you again in the future as and when we need to look to recruit to our team.

I contacted Oakleaf Partnership regarding a role that they were dealing with and from the outset I was treated with respect and professionalism by Amy Morris. Amy took the time to get to know me fully in terms of what I was looking for and at every stage kept me informed. I have been extremely impressed with the way that Amy has dealt with any questions and will definitely be keeping her in my contacts for future reference, not only as a candidate, but as an HR professional dealing with recruitment.

Amy has been a breath of fresh air. Having been a bit wary of recruitment consultants in the past, Amy has proven that they are not all alike! Her easy, friendly but highly professional attitude coupled with her solid advice, guidance and patience has helped me secure a superb HR position. I cannot thank her enough and would not hesitate to recommend her to other HR professionals looking for their next move.
Penny Davies - HR Consultant
I was contacted by a recruitment consultant (Amy Morris) from Oakleaf Partnership and my experience with her was very pleasant. With the current practices in the recruitment market, I can say, with all sincerity, that she was an epitome of professionalism, keeping in contact with me and sending all necessary paperwork and feedback to me. I will definitely be recommending Oakleaf Partnership to friends in the future, as an agency to contact if looking for a job.
