After graduating from Leicester University in Management studies I went straight into working within the recruitment industry. I spent just under 3 years leading on a temporary desk recruiting support staff within the commercial sector. My move into Oakleaf happened in February 2008 where I became part of their relatively new team based in Leeds. Following three years in the Yorkshire market I decided to take the plunge and relocate to London. I worked in the permanent market specialising in the Technology, Media, Telecommunciations and Business Service sectors for 4 years before going back to my roots and leading our Interim delivery across the same sectors. I was promoted to Manager in our commerce business 2015 and Associate Partner in 2016.
I can’t say that I am best sports woman in the world but dancing and swimming are two great loves of mine and I will always have a go at the rest! I did however complete the Great North Swim 2009 raising over £850 for my recognised charity, Mind – so a big thanks for everyone who supported me.
The CIPD is urging the newly-elected Conservative government to focus on improving workplace productivity as pay growth remains low.
The CIPD’s latest Labour Market Outlook has found basic pay is expected to grow by 1.8% in the coming year, compared to 2% the previous quarter.
