We have a current opportunity with a well establish construction company for a Talent Manager on a 9 month FTC. The position will be based in London with 3 days a week in the office.

The Talent Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective and cost-efficient recruitment strategies to attract the best possible talent into the business. To provide technically sound, commercially focused recruitment guidance, advice and skills development to Managers throughout all areas of the business as required.

This is a hands-on role responsible for:

a. The entire recruitment process including the identification and recruitment of talent for the company in the UK.

b. Lead and drive the global mobility process for the UK.

c. Lead the attraction, recruitment and on-barding of our annual graduate programme as well as apprenticeships.

The Key Focus of the Role:

(1) Internal & external recruitment: taking comprehensive job briefs, devising appropriate sourcing strategies per role, ad writing, managing both our recruitment platform & LinkedIn recruiter account, brand management, talent pool management, promotion of the Business’s EVP, telephone screening, behavioural interviewing, candidate management, reference checks, on-boarding, agency management and managing the process for international moves.

(2) Global Mobility: working with the UK HR team and the wider global HR team on the end-to-end process for global moves to the UK and from the UK to Australia/Canada. Influencing the workforce planning stages to identify opportunities for global moves and being the key contact for the candidates and the regional HR offices, in order to ensure a seamless experience for the candidate. Liaising directly with our relocation partner, immigration and tax lawyers and any other relevant third party in order for the global move to be processed and keeping track of all the relevant stages.

(3) Graduate Programme; Building relationships with relevant universities in order to attract a diverse pool of applicants for the 2 year graduate scheme. Planning and attending the graduate fairs and overseeing the full recruitment process, including organising the assessment centers and the offer stages. To oversee the graduate programme throughout its 2 years cycle, from on-boarding to liaising with the wider HR team to ensure effective rotation during each graduate’s programme, through to off-boarding.
