A global leader in alternative investments, is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join their team on an initial 6 month basis. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and retaining top-tier talent. From passive candidates to industry experts, you’ll leverage your networks and tools to find the best talent.

The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor partnering with the business to deliver on all recruitment activities across London and some European locations. The position will coordinate and partner with various business functions at all levels. You will report into a Recruitment Lead and have day to day support from a team of Recruitment Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support as a recruitment expert to line managers, delivering efficient processes, benchmarking and offer management
  • Track, screen and respond to all speculative candidates, building an internal market map where appropriate
  • Advise hiring managers on the most suitable recruitment process, coaching hiring managers on interviewing skills and techniques including testing
  • Interview candidates at all levels and provide feedback to hiring managers
  • Influence hiring managers on the importance of diversity in the recruitment process
  • Manage the offer process including approvals and benchmarking
  • Collaborate on ad hoc HR projects – contribute ideas to improve recruiting function and candidate experience

Key Skills:

  • A self starter with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition
  • Proven experience as a recruiter, working in financial services ideally within private markets, asset management, or investment banking / global markets.
  • Strong knowledge of London markets, cultural nuances, and talent landscapes
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to operate with autonomy to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
