Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a leading global private healthcare business in their search for a CHRO for a newly created role in one of its business units. This role will partner the CEO, CFO and Senior Management Team to provide a fully generalist service.

What is the role?

Our client is a looking for an outstanding and innovative HR professional to lead one of its businesses, developing a clear and robust local HR strategy, in line with the overall group HR strategy. You will be part of the senior management team and contribute towards the strategic direction of the business across all aspects of management.

This is a true generalist role, and you should have experience in the all aspects of the employee life-cycle including recruitment, talent, organisational development, employee engagement and ER. You will also partner the CEO, CFO and the rest of the Senior Management Team.

There is an excellent HR team that has done some excellent work in the business. Our client now wants a fresh set of eyes on the business from a HR perspective and wants to continue to improve, taking the HR team and its service from excellent to outstanding.

The business is also opening two new sites which will fall under the remit of this role.

Candidate profile

You will be a true generalist who has the ability to think strategically and commercially. You will have the experience and confidence to business partner the C-suite, guiding, influencing, and challenging in the appropriate way. You will also be comfortable providing an operational HR service where required, and understand the importance of being present.

You will be innovative in your approach to HR, drawing on past experience as well as new ideas to make impact. You will be people focused, commercially astute, and know what “excellence” looks and feels like. You will be data driven with an inquisitive mind to understand the human impact behind the numbers.

Ideally, you will have experience opening new business streams, and business locations, although this isn’t a prerequisite. Candidates from fast paced dynamic industries such as retail are encouraged to apply.
