Senior Manager, Supply Chain Finance

Location: Stamford, CT
Working model: Hybrid, 4 days onsite
Compensation: $155,000-$175,000 base + bonus
Industry: CPG

A leading global consumer products organization is undergoing a significant transformation of its finance function and is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Finance to play a key role in building greater visibility, structure and control across its supply chain costs.

This is a newly evolving area of the finance organization, with significant exposure to international supply chains (heavy focus on APAC), import costs, tariffs and total landed cost. The successful candidate will partner closely with operational leadership and provide the business with greater visibility into the financial impact of its supply chain.

The role offers an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an environment where processes are still being developed and who can build structure, improve processes and create scalable solutions rather than simply operate an established model.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operating divisions and supply chain leadership to provide financial insight and decision support.
  • Own analysis of total landed cost, including supplier costs, ocean freight, domestic transportation and other associated costs.
  • Analyze and manage tariff exposure and import-related costs, including country-of-origin considerations.
  • Develop reporting and repeatable processes to improve visibility into product costs, tariffs and supply chain expenses.
  • Support annual budgets, forecasts and supply chain P&Ls.
  • Provide senior leadership and the COO with clear visibility into supply chain costs and key financial drivers.
  • Partner with teams across the US and APAC to understand product flows and the financial impact of moving goods from Asia into the US.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost management, reporting and decision-making.
  • Build documentation and controls around currently ad hoc processes, creating a more consistent and auditable finance environment.
  • Support broader FP&A and finance transformation initiatives as the organization continues to evolve.

Ideally, you will have:

  • 7+ years of relevant finance experience, with strong supply chain finance / FP&A exposure.
  • Experience working with international supply chains and imported products.
  • Understanding of tariffs, ocean freight, import costs and country-of-origin considerations.
  • Strong understanding of product costing and total landed cost.
  • Experience partnering with operations and senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience building or improving financial processes and reporting.
  • The ability to operate effectively in an environment where processes are not yet fully established.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex cost information into clear commercial insights.
