Learning Management System Administrator (Cornerstone)

  • Contract: 6+ months
  • Rate: $35 - $40/hour
  • Location: Fully remote (EST based candidates)

We are partnering with a leading financial services organization to recruit an experienced Learning Management System Administrator with strong Cornerstone LMS expertise. This contract opportunity will support a busy Learning & Development function, helping to improve learning operations, optimize reporting, enhance the learner experience, and deliver high-quality training content across the business.

This role requires a hands-on LMS professional who can confidently administer and optimize Cornerstone while also contributing to content development and learning initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in LMS reporting, learning analytics, course catalogue management, and the creation of engaging training materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize the Cornerstone LMS platform
  • Configure learning assignments, curricula, certifications, learner groups, and learning pathways
  • Manage and maintain the course catalogue, ensuring content remains accurate and up to date
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute LMS reports and training completion metrics
  • Provide reporting insights to support compliance, learning effectiveness, and business decision-making
  • Troubleshoot LMS issues and resolve learner and stakeholder queries
  • Support learning program rollouts and course launches across the organization
  • Partner with L&D stakeholders to improve learning processes and learner engagement
  • Identify opportunities to automate LMS administration and reporting activities
  • Create and maintain training materials, user guides, job aids, and learning resources
  • Develop digital learning content, including eLearning modules and video-based training materials
  • Conduct learning analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience administering Cornerstone LMS within a corporate environment
  • Experience creating training materials, including video and digital learning content, instructional content, and learner documentation for Cornerstone
  • Strong expertise in Cornerstone reporting and learning analytics
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining LMS learning structures and content
  • Solid understanding of course catalogue management and learning operations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting and presenting learning data
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements within an LMS environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
