You'll act as a trusted advisor across the full employee lifecycle, providing pragmatic and commercially focused HR advice while helping leaders navigate people challenges, organisational change and evolving business priorities.

The Role
As HR Business Partner, you will:
- Partner with managers and senior stakeholders across designated business areas, building strong relationships and developing a thorough understanding of their priorities and people challenges.
- Provide high-quality advice, guidance and coaching across the full employee lifecycle, enabling managers to confidently manage their teams.
- Proactively identify people-related risks, trends and opportunities and work with stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
- Support organisational change programmes, including restructures and TUPE, ensuring activity is managed effectively and in line with employment legislation.
- Work closely with specialist People teams across Employee Relations, Recruitment, Reward, HR Operations, Systems and Organisational Development.
- Support managers with workforce and people planning, ensuring HR activity is aligned with wider business objectives.
- Use HR data, management information and employee insights to identify trends and support effective decision-making.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring a consistent, pragmatic and commercially considered approach.
- Contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives, supporting continuous improvement across the People function.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice, ensuring policies and processes remain relevant and effective.
About You
You will be an experienced HR professional who is comfortable operating within a large, complex and fast-paced organisation.
You will ideally bring:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent relevant HR experience.
- Strong generalist HR knowledge with experience operating at HR Business Partner level or in a similar role.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to coach, challenge and influence managers and senior leaders.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
- Experience supporting organisational change, ideally including restructures and/or TUPE.
- The ability to balance operational delivery with a broader understanding of business priorities.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence working with HR data and producing meaningful reports and insights.
- A collaborative approach and experience working alongside specialist HR teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and manage people-related risk.
Why Apply?
This is a great opportunity to join a large, values-led organisation with a strong social purpose, working within an established People function where HR has genuine visibility across the business.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a varied stakeholder group, get involved in meaningful organisational change and contribute to wider people initiatives, while remaining close to the day-to-day business.
If you are an experienced HR Business Partner looking for a broad role within a complex, purpose-driven organisation, I'd be keen to hear from you.
Please apply for further information. All applications and conversations will be treated confidentially.
