Senior Payroll & Pension Analyst - 6 month FTC - London - up to £55,000 per annum
Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a firm, who are looking for a Senior Payroll & Pension Analyst, on a 6 month FTC basis. The Senior Payroll and Pension Analyst, will support the payroll transformation and implementation activities. The successful candidate will play a key role, in interpreting and resolving complex pension queries, ensuring pension related data and processes are accurate.
The Senior Payroll and Pension Analyst will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
- Validate employee payroll and pension records during parallel payroll runs, ensuring the accuracy of data migrated between systems
- Research, analyse and respond to pension queries from across the organisation, in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with external stakeholders to obtain pension information, clarify issues and resolve complex pension queries effectively and independently.
- Prepare clear, added-value reports that document research findings, supporting evidence and recommend next steps if required
- Work closely with the HR Operations and HR Project teams to support delivery of agreed project milestones
- Complete data validation for all payroll elements across at least two parallel pay runs between payroll systems identifying and recording any discrepancies
- Work with the HR Operations Manager to investigate validation errors, agree corrective action and ensure issues are resolved promptly
Key skills;
- Working knowledge of end to end payroll processes, particularly the reconciliation of employee records, earnings, deductions, pension contributions, statutory payments, and post payroll reporting.
- Advanced excel skills, with strong skills in Sharepoint
- Excellent attention to detail
