HR Manager - 12 Month FTC
Location: City of London - hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £70,000
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Oakleaf are working with a global, purpose-driven financial services organisation to recruit an experienced HR Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a broad operational HR generalist role, working closely with the HR Director and wider global HR team. You'll support the full employee lifecycle and act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers across a range of HR matters.
The Role
You'll have a varied remit spanning:
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
- Acting as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries
- Supporting recruitment, contracts, pre-employment checks, onboarding and visa/relocation processes
- Supporting annual salary review and compensation processes
- Working closely with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate employee data and monthly payroll
- Maintaining accurate HRIS records and producing HR reports, dashboards and people metrics
- Coordinating learning, development and performance processes
- Providing operational support across employee relations, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Supporting the implementation of HR policies, systems and process improvements
- Collaborating with HR colleagues internationally, ensuring global consistency while considering local requirements
Skills & Experience
We're looking for an experienced HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor who is ready to step up, with a strong operational/generalist background.
You'll ideally have:
- Solid experience across the employee lifecycle
- Good knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations
- Strong excel experience
- Experience preparing contracts and HR documentation
- Strong HRIS and HR data/reporting experience
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, solutions-focused and approachable style
- Experience working in an international or global organisation would be advantageous
