HRBP (generalist) - Financial Services / AI Savvy

📍 London£80000 - £95000 per annumPosted 23 October 2026

A highly desirable generalist HR Business Partner role is available at a mid-tier investment bank. The business are circa 500 people across the EU region and the HR team is fairly lean meaning you'll need to get involved with a bit of everything.

The HR function is also in a transition period which means it's an exciting time to join. A number of the processes are manual and it will be part of this role to improve these as well as using AI tools in order to automate as much as possible.

The HRBP will report directly into and work very closely with the Head of HR who is new to the business as well. You will work hand in hand to provide a first class HR offering to the business as well as upskilling junior HR team members.

There is a fair amount of ER work to do and from day one you'll be getting involved with some meaty stuff so it's important that candidates have solid ER experience.

If you are looking for a role with a difference, one that is both a true generalist and a business partner, one which will allow you to showcase your AI skills and one that you can actively contribute to the improvement of the function then this could be for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted relationships with Senior Managers, translating business needs into practical HR priorities and providing commercially focused advice across the European business.

  • Demonstrable ability to build credibility and operate as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, translating business priorities into practical people solutions.
