Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted HR partner for employees and managers across EMEA, with a particular focus on supporting the Munich office.
- Provide guidance on local HR policies and employment practices, ensuring compliance with German labour legislation while supporting wider regional HR activities.
- Own and continually enhance the onboarding experience for new hires across EMEA, ensuring a consistent and engaging introduction to the organisation.
- Manage and develop the EMEA Internship Programme, delivering an outstanding experience for interns from recruitment through programme completion.
- Provide high-quality HR operational support across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations, HR queries, promotions, reward processes, visas, work permits, and other HR activities.
- Support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives by working with employee networks and helping to deliver regional programmes.
- Contribute to employer branding activities and internal communications that strengthen employee engagement and enhance the organisation’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Support and lead HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and wider people-focused programmes as required.
About You
You are an experienced HR professional with excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for delivering great employee experiences.
You will ideally bring:
- Previous HR experience within an international organisation, supporting both local and regional stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of German employment law; exposure to HR practices across other European countries would be advantageous.
- Experience in HR advisory, HR operations, or a broad HR generalist role across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively at all levels.
- Sound judgement and a high degree of professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with HR systems and reporting tools.
- Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to collaborate across multiple European time zones when required.
- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach to people processes and the employee experience.
- Fluency in English and German.
