An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Benefits Consultant to join a leading global organisation in London. This role sits within a high-performing Compensation & Benefits function and is responsible for the design, governance and ongoing development of employee benefits programmes across the UK and Ireland.
Working within a complex, matrixed environment, you will partner with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Legal and operational teams to ensure benefits programmes remain competitive, compliant, strategically aligned and deliver a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, review and enhancement of UK and Ireland employee benefits programmes.
- Develop and maintain benefits governance frameworks, policies and programme standards.
- Ensure programmes align with business strategy, regulatory requirements and risk controls.
- Monitor legislative and market developments, translating changes into practical programme updates.
- Manage and challenge external benefits providers to ensure strong service delivery, value and performance.
- Partner with HR and operational teams to support effective implementation of benefits programmes.
- Produce reporting, insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Act as a trusted subject matter expert to senior stakeholders on benefits-related matters.
- Drive employee engagement through effective benefits communication and education initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve programme effectiveness, efficiency and employee outcomes.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in benefits design, strategy and governance within a large, complex organisation.
- Previous Financial Services / big banking background
- Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland benefits legislation, taxation and regulatory frameworks.
- A proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate autonomously within a governance-led environment.
- Experience managing third-party benefits providers and external advisers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including policy development and executive-level presentations.
- High levels of accountability, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
