Why Oakleaf have moved to a more open way of working…

At Oakleaf one of our core values is innovation, and we are constantly striving to find new ways to keep our employees’ wellbeing at the top of our agenda.

In February, with the end of the financial year approaching, we asked our staff for their flexible working policy suggestions. Everyone in the business had a chance to submit their ideas to the (very aptly named) Innovation Box located in our London office.

The Oakleaf Board reviewed all the suggestions and, at the beginning of this month, unveiled a new way of working – we call it OPen working. What does this entail? A move to a flexible or open ended working day, working from home options available for all, a new cloud and mobile based CRM system, as well as enabling all staff to own modern personal tech so they can work wherever and whenever they need to.

The modern workplace needs to recognise that staff don’t need to be present in an office for 5 days a week, and we are proud to offer this new open way of working to all our staff in both our London and Birmingham offices.
