The Oakleaf Academy launches in Birmingham!

The OP Academy was set up in 2015 to support rising HR talent progress as they set out on their career. The idea is to bring together talented HR professionals with senior HR leaders in a social setting, allowing them to impart their wisdom and career advice. It’s a unique and invaluable opportunity for our candidates to ask questions and expand their personal network of like-minded, ambitious HR professionals and share knowledge, learning and best practice across industry. Our aim is to nurture and support talent in the HR community, with each session having a key development theme led by a senior HR professional who will talk through their career journey and how they overcame obstacles.

Following on from the success of The OP Academy in our London office we are now launching The OP Academy in Birmingham, focusing on Emerging HR Talent in the Midlands region. This programme is aimed at ambitious high potential HR professionals in the first few years of their HR career. Topics discussed at these events will include personal impact, business partnering and personal management. Past speakers at our London events have included Danny Harmer, Chief People Officer at Metro Bank (pictured) and Nikki Isaacs, Head of Talent at Barclays.

Our first Birmingham event is being held onĀ 1st May at 6:00pm in our Birmingham office with guest speaker Nicola Hale, VP HR at Carlsberg Group. Nicola will lead a discussion on Commerciality in HR. Click here to find out more or contact SarahWestwood@oakleafpartnership.com for further details.
