Katherine Kaplan joins as a Consultant on the Commerce and Industry team. Katherine studied English Literature, Writing and Communications at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and has a background in marketing, sales and PR. Initially working in Executive Search in Financial Services, Katherine shifted to the Media and Advertising industry before coming to Oakleaf to specialise in HR recruitment working with pharmaceutical energy and Not for Profit clients. Joy Walshe joins as a Consultant recruiting mid-senior level HR Professionals on a permanent basis, as part of the Financial & Professional Services team. After graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Law with French Law, she enjoyed a career in the music industry before making the move in to recruitment. Most recently, she worked at Angela Mortimer, a business support staff recruitment firm, where she worked in the PA & Executive Search division, recruiting for major blue chip companies, HNWIs and SMEs. Before that, Joy helped build a permanent desk at Angela Mortimer recruiting into professional and financial services.
