Recruiter magazine has released its HOT 100 list, based on the recruitment companies with the greatest gross profit per head. I am delighted that we are once again featured, at number 39, proud especially that we are listed as the highest pure HR specialist.
Last July, on our 15th anniversary, I wrote that the strength of our culture and the resilience of the Oakleaf family was being tested in a way that no one could have ever envisaged and “I’m certain that the enduring legacy view of Oakleaf will be formed on the basis of how we have behaved and reacted during this crisis”.
The Hot 100 report mentions that “flexibility, responsiveness and pro-activeness have driven many firms onwards in the ongoing Covid-led environment”. We have had to adapt, think on our feet and respond quickly to circumstances we haven’t encountered before, whilst trying to ensure our service to our customers and wellbeing of our colleagues is paramount.
It’s been a tough year. Our culture has certainly been tested, but we have reflected, listened and are planning for more positive times. We approach the new financial year with real optimism, a renewed focus on growth, strengthened relationships with our customers and the health and wellbeing of our Oakleaf family, to whom we welcome a number of new hires.
