Oakleaf Partnership celebrates a record Q4 and financial year

Oakleaf Partnership reports record net fee income for its fourth quarter ended 31/03/2018 and for the financial year 2017/18.

Ending the financial year with a record Q4, Net Fee Income (NFI) for the full year grew by 19% compared to 2016/17, with a PBT growth of 27%, year-on-year. All the Oakleaf business areas grew over the period, with a 9% rise in GP/Head, built upon strong and consistent delivery from its established businesses and the continued growth of its newer business areas of Payroll, Human Capital Services and its Birmingham office. The company’s operating profit for the year was also a record, with a conversion ratio for the full year of 18%.

Richard Colgan, Founder and CEO stated: “I am really delighted with our 2017/18 performance and the excellent start to Q1 of the new financial year – the demand for outstanding HR, Payroll and Human Capital talent is as strong as we have known it. I am particularly pleased with the ongoing success of our newer business areas, as well as the fantastic performance of our Executive Search business, under the excellent leadership of Katrina Stewart. The investment in our people, reflected in the award of 3 stars for employee engagement (for the 3rd year running) and 39th place in the Sunday Times Best Small Companies, means that Oakleaf really is a fantastic place to work.  Our culture is, of course, totally underpinned by great delivery, which was recognised by our Recruiter Magazine HOT100 placing: 37th, up 18 places from the prior year.”

Colgan continued: “Whilst I am, of course, delighted with a record performance in 2017/18, and strong start to the new financial year, we must ensure that our “customer obsession” and commitment to delivering outstanding service levels remain as strong as ever”.
