Innovation lurks beyond the C-suite

Productivity is already waning and the ability of organisations to acclimatise to market conditions and improve internal operations will follow suit, experts warn, leaving many global firms stagnant in otherwise developing economies.

Innovation is vital, but it is not a new concept.

The phrase ‘innovate or die’ is often bandied around in business circles, and before Christmas, Will Hutton, principal of Hertford College, University of Oxford, said 2015 would be the year HR aligned business strategy and encouraged innovation across the whole workforce.
