The length and depth of the recent recession is said to have changed the shape of recruiting…for ever. So many businesses which issued a blanket recruitment freeze as their first response to difficult times will find it hard to recognise the landscape as at last they raise their heads above the parapet. And more than a few good candidates will no longer recognise the brand of an employer who has been keeping a low profile.
