Employers fail to monitor gender diversity

The report – Gender Diversity in the Boardroom: Reach for the top – also revealed that more than half of respondents were unaware of the target of 25 per cent female representation in the UK’s FTSE 100 boardrooms by the end of 2015, set by Lord Davies in 2011.

Just 17 per cent of survey respondents were aware of the ‘Think, Act, Report’ initiative, which also aims to help companies think about gender equality in their workforces.
