I am working with a growing global asset management company in supporting them to find an experienced Tech Recruiter on a 9-12 month FTC. The role has become available due to the increase in demand in the Tech team, volumes are increasing and there seems to be a large budget invested from the U.S to bulk out tech. There are currently 40 live roles in Tech, majority managed by agencies, internal stakeholders are demanding and require a high touch service. The role will suit somebody who is organised, who is comfortable operating across all levels including senior hires, who is happy to 'muck in', build valuable relationships with agencies and where able to direct source, run that successfully.
Snapshot of duties:
- Consults with managers to identify, develop and implement recruitment strategies to align with and meet key business priorities and firm-wide talent strategy. The incumbent may manage client areas that span multiple business lines or one large business unit with multiple departments within. Works with the business to ensure an in-depth knowledge of the department, skills and abilities required to perform the role being recruited. Works with mid-level management to develop, implement and adjust recruiting strategy for primarily entry to mid-level niche roles.
- Builds trusted client relationships through building a strong targeted pipeline of talent for the business. Sources, pre-screens, and interviews internal and external applicants for niche roles across the Services organization. Sourcing often consists of extensive candidate development, networking, use of social media sites and tools to identify qualified diverse talent for roles with complex or niche skill sets. Via the screening process, determines if candidates meet the requirements of a role. Recommends candidates to hiring manager for interview. Consults with hiring manager and key decision makers on hiring decision. Recommends candidates for employment, influences offer package, works with the Compensation Team on offers and extends/negotiates offers. Works with business lines and HR Generalist and compensation to prepare non-standard offers. Given the nature of the complex or strategic positions this position is recruiting for, there are often offer package negotiations that may require the Recruiter to lead negotiations with candidates. Provides oversight that all data is captured in the applicant/requisition management system for all requisition/candidate activity.
The role requires experience with tech recruitment within a financial services or professional services organisation, who has managed both high volumes and worked in a high touch environment. Salary is up to GBP60k plus non pensionable allowance paid out monthly- total comp circa GBP70k. This role is to start as soon as possible. Please apply for a further conversation.
