We have a great opportunity for an experienced HR Officer. This is a fixed term contract until March 2023 with the potential to go permanent. The role is with a well established professional body. In this role you will be actively responsible for co-ordinating and implementing aspects of the HR function and to act a point of contact for general HR duties and requests.
The role responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Head of Corporate services in the development and enactment of HR policies.
- Provide support to colleagues on HR casework as required.
- Be responsible for ensuring that new starters, leavers, and payroll changes are properly recorded, and correspondence issued.
- Support staff induction and leaving processes.
- Assist the Head of corporate services and Senior Management Team with the administration of an organisation-wide training policy.
- Administration of recruitment and interview processes. Including pre-employment checks.
- Be responsible for the contractual onboarding of staff.
- Be responsible for conducting exit interviews with staff.
- Assist the Head of Corporate Services in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports on HR metrics using the staff wellbeing software.
- Assist the administration of the Job Evaluation Group.
The person:
- Understanding of HR Function, either QBE or via partial qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Self-managing and proactive
- Experience of using HR systems - Moorepay would be an advantage
