Interim Snr HR Consultant

My client is an up and coming brand within the high growth energy sector urgently seeking an Interim Snr HR Consultant to join the business to support on building the HR infrastructure and strategy across a global remit.

You will be responsible for the full generalist remit in a standalone capacity across multiple international sites so much have experience working in a similar complex environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build the overall People Brand while leading on change management and organizational design

  • Design and implement policies and procedures

  • Provide HR business partnering services to the C-Suite, guide and implement strategies and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Coach and guide managers (taking into account best practice, local law, cultural and company policies) in terms of; talent acquisition, organizational design, performance management, succession planning; employee relations, engagement and change programs.

  • Support Remco submissions

  • Support management in designing new positions in line with job families

  • Support managers in interviewing senior roles.

  • Investigate, resolve and recommend solutions for employee issues

  • Set up end to end HR services in new countries and legal entities or to integrate acquired businesses.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation specifically within Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, able to upskill as required.

  • May be required to undertake analysis or reporting.

  • Travel required to different locations globally



  • Operated at HRD or Head of HR level within a similar industry

  • Proven track record of providing best practice HR Business Partner services in a stand alone role; strong UK experience essential and experience of operating in multiple jurisdictions within Europe and Africa also essential

  • Experience setting up new business entities within different locations globally, ideally in Africa

  • Demonstrates a strong background in employee relations and change management; including planning and project management through to effective delivery.

  • Must have developed HR Policy and Procedure in a similar environment.

  • Must be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice.

  • Experience of working across multi-site organizations and providing remote support.

  • Prior experience of supporting all levels of management

  • Demonstrates background in supporting employee engagement initiatives, driving a culture of diversity and inclusion.

  • Computer literate, in particular competent with Microsoft office. Comfortable with HRIS
