Oakleaf Partnership are looking for a Management Development Specialist to a join a successful broker in central Manchester. Priding themselves on great culture, this business allows people to be themselves, and puts a big emphasis on development no matter where you are in the company.

Part of a wider L&D team, this role will focus on developing existing managers with their career, as well as supporting the transition into management for colleagues that are promoted. You’ll coach soft skills such as conflict management, resilience, having the right conversations, managing performance, and leadership. This is a new role and would need someone who has specialised in this area previously to really make an impact.

Day to day duties include:

  • Working with the Head of L&D to understand the business needs and ongoing strategy for the management population
  • Designing and delivering training for new and existing managers
  • Researching adhoc topics and keeping up to date with different coaching methods
  • Adapting your training for different learning styles
  • Delivering training face to face in a classroom setting rather than virtually

The salary is up to £45,000 and the client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible (notice period is expected). The office is in the city centre and you’ll need to be on site for delivering training. However, when designing modules, you are more than welcome to do that from home.
