Employment workshop – Flexible Working – 22 May

At the Oakleaf/Squire Sanders Employment Workshop, you will be shown a DVD clip featuring a fictional HR Manager as a starting point to explore:

  • Flexible working requests – how to handle them without exposing yourself to claims;
  • Dealing with multiple requests – how do you choose?
  • How far must you go when considering requests to work on a job-share basis?
  • Handling requests to work flexibly during the Olympics – with many businesses being urged to allow greater flexibility during Olympics 2012 we will explore the pros and cons of doing so.

This workshop will be held on 22 May 2012 at Squire Sanders’ offices at 7 Devonshire Square, EC2M 4YH (a map is attached). Registration will be at 8.40am for 9.00am start, lasting until approximately 10:30am. Complimentary breakfast will be provided.

This workshop will be interactive and will include an opportunity to ask questions of Squire Sanders’ Employment Law specialists and to share experiences with others.

We expect there to be a high uptake of this opportunity to enhance employment law knowledge, so please do respond quickly as we will allocate spaces on a first come first served basis. Please email events@oakleafpartnership.com if you would like to attend.
