I first came across Oakleaf, and in particular Jade, last summer when I was looking for work having been made redundant.
Despite my finding a fixed term contract role directly with Macquarie, Jade was always interested in my application at the time and in finding a good role for me.
She remained in contact – at an appropriate level – during my first couple of months and when my contract was extended continued to foster the relationship in a professional manner.
I decided to reach out to Jade in September as I was interested in seeing what the market was like when my original contract would have expired as opposed to June 2017 when my extension was due to end as the market is often more active at this time.
Despite having met with a number of recruitment agencies last year I only reached out to Jade as her professionalism, attention to detail and considered approach to the working relationship had left a lasting impression.
