I have always loved working with people, spending the first 17 years of my career in sales. I loved my work, travelling the world to source high-end giftware and selling to wholesale customers. As the high street changed I moved into recruitment to explore another opportunity to work with people using my sales skills.
I started my recruitment career in a business development role, moving into the Accountancy & Finance sector at the qualified end of the market. I now specialise in the Commerce and Industry sector and work on roles ranging from UK Payroll Managers (Compensation & Benefits) through to EMEA & International Payroll Managers, Global Payroll Directors and Strategic Partners/Systems Implementation Managers in the UK and overseas.
Having a thirst for the industry I thrive on building a solid relationship with my clients alongside an honest consultative approach. Oakleaf was a natural choice for me as the business is built around its strong values and is a leader in HR, Payroll and Human Capital Services recruitment.
Away from work, I am a devoted family man with a gorgeous daughter and wife who I am besotted with. In my spare time, I volunteer with a couple of charitable organisations. Combatting rough sleeping and homelessness is important to me and each year I spend a few nights driving around distributing food and sleeping bags to people on the streets.
