Finance Manager

Upon leaving 6th form I knew I wanted to take the path towards a career in finance. I started work as an Accounts Assistant with a recruitment company that specialised in Finance and at the same time studied towards my AAT qualification. This was a huge kick start to my career and after 7 years of being very driven and focussed I moved on to an accountant’s role at Manchester's largest property and investment company. I then after 5 years moved on to a Cheshire based wine company. Here they produced their own wine from vineyards in France, South Africa and Italy. My position came with added interest and great perks!

In December 2014 my husband accepted his new job in London and it was time for us to move to the big smoke! This was massively life changing and finding a new job was key to my future. When meeting the guys at Oakleaf, I instantly knew this was the perfect position. A friendly and welcoming team within a professional, successful and growing organisation. What more could a girl ask for. I knew my varied finance experience would be something I could most definitely bring to the table in order to help the Fianance/Management team going forward.

Outside of work I like to keep fit by way of setting myself a challenge for charity. I have trained for and completed various 10k runs, a 25 mile canoe, the Great North Run and the Manchester-Blackpool bike ride. For down time, I love nice food and wine and am thoroughly enjoying the amazing restaurants London has to offer.
