After graduating from Reading University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Film Studies, I decided to move to London to start my career. Unsure of which direction to take, I soon realised that recruitment would satisfy my desire to work in a fast paced and busy environment. I wanted to work in a role that would enable me to build relationships with people, utilise my interpersonal skills and learn about how businesses work. I joined a large global recruitment company where I specialised in PA & Secretarial hires across financial services, I then decided that I wanted to specialise in HR and so I joined Oakleaf Partnership which has now been my home for over six years.

Within Oakleaf Partnership, I am a Senior Manager and over the last three years have led our large and highly successful financial services team in London where I personally recruited within senior interim roles across HR. Throughout this time, I built strong relationships with financial services HR professionals, with my honest and consultative approach.

After meeting my ‘ Manc’ partner four years ago, we have now decided to put roots down in Manchester and I have moved North with Oakleaf Partnership, joining our growing regional business to head up and lead our North West offering. Our reputation has allowed us to grow and nurture excellent relationships across Manchester, North West and Scotland and I am really excited to be part of the journey. I am responsible for interim and permanent recruitment across these areas for roles with salaries up to £110,000.

Outside of work, I love hiking the Lancashire & Cheshire countryside with my fox red Labrador, spending time with family and friends and exploring the incredible food, wine & cocktail scene Manchester has to offer. I have a real love of travelling and try to go on as many holidays as I can throughout the year.
