After graduating from 3 years at Art School in London I took the obvious decision to begin a career in the Insurance Industry. A few years later and wiser I discovered recruitment and have not looked back since!
I started my recruitment career in 1999 when I joined Reed and developed a successful Insurance desk. I moved into HR recruitment in 2006, firstly setting up the HR recruitment business in London for Reed, which I did for 2 years until I was promoted to manage and develop the UK HR business for Reed which I grew year on year. As well as HR Recruitment at Reed, I spent some time managing teams working across other business disciplines throughout Kent, but my real passion has always been in HR recruitment.
In the early part of 2017 I took the opportunity to join Digby Morgan to focus purely on HR recruitment and to take a lead in redeveloping the business after a period of change. That led me to the Oakleaf Partnership which I joined because I believe in the values the company represents and the passion everyone here has for the business and our customers. At Oakleaf I am responsible for a team that manages permanent HR recruitment into the Industry and Commerce sectors and I personally manage recruitment into Transport, Travel & Logistics, Engineering and Pharma & Healthcare.
I am very much a family man, I have done a solo parachute jump and completed several half marathons in my time as well as being a very keen footballer up until a few years ago. Now days as a Dad of four I get to indulge in a lot of childish fun and my kids’ interests have become mine, so I am currently into musical theatre, trampolining and swimming. I am also an expert in paper aeroplanes!
