I joined Oakleaf Partnership in February 2020, having previously worked in the sector for Morgan Hunt, SThree and MPS Group (now Adecco)
I studied at Oxford Brookes University where I gained my first professional experience with a Finance placement year at BT. Always having the ambition of becoming a qualified finance professional, I began my accountancy career with the NHS on their Financial Management Training Scheme. I left the Public Sector to join Electronic Arts, where I was the Finance Manager for the Harry Potter franchise.
Accredited with Chartered status in 2007 (CIMA), I made the move into Professional Services and the Recruitment sector in 2008. Enjoying the mix of a fast-paced, dynamic environment, the sector has been the backbone of my career ever since.
I was excited to join Oakleaf Partnership as their Finance Director to build upon their success and support their continued growth ambitions. Their expertise and niche specialisms are some of the best I have seen in the industry, providing a fantastic platform for future expansion.
On a personal note, I’m married with two children, and love family trips away, especially sunny holidays. I enjoy all sports, and I’m now more of a golfer and cyclist, after athletics and football earlier on in my sporting career. I have completed a number of events for charities that are close to my heart including Asthma, Pancreatic Cancer and Tommy’s. At the weekends I also like to cook, and love making pizza and pasta with the family (which can get messy!)
