I graduated from Nottingham Trent University in May 2013 with a 1st Class BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. Throughout my time at University I was a keen member of the Women’s Football club where I captained the 1st Team for 2 years. Immediately after finishing university I moved down to London for the fast pace of the big city.
I started my recruitment career shortly after finishing University and began work in the education sector, recruiting for special needs schools within London. I moved to Oakleaf in February 2014 when I decided I wanted to specialise in HR recruitment with a leading boutique HR recruitment specialist. At Oakleaf I joined the Third Sector team and have been recruiting for junior to mid level HR positions for the past 2 years. I have also taken a lead in establishing and managing the OP Academy, an initiative designed to support rising junior HR talent through an annual programme of events.
Outside of the office I enjoy seeing and doing new things in London including eating out at different places. Even after 3 years in London there are always new places to go and new things to do. I also enjoy going away and have a long list of places I want to visit.

May I take this opportunity to thank you and your team for a truly exceptional experience from Oakleaf during my job search. I've worked with a number of agencies and I can honestly say that the level of service provided by Oakleaf is exemplary. My lead consultant, Georgina Knowles, kept in touch with me regularly, I was always well briefed about potential opportunities and I felt well prepared for interviews. If Georgina was away, her colleagues would contact me so it felt like I had a whole team working with me and supporting me during the process. Many thanks to all of you.
Learning and Development Partner, Financial Ombudsman Service
Georgina worked with me during a tough period of transition from leaving the HM Armed Forces and seeking employment in the Learning and Development sector. Georgina was professional and informative at preparing me for interview, supporting me through each phase of the process and following up with timely feedback in order to prepare and improve going forwards. Georgina delivered on what she said she would do, which I found refreshing as I have experienced a lot of recruiters signing me up and never delivering on their promise. I would recommend Georgina to anyone needing a recruitment specialist the care and support shown to me throughout my career transition was unlike any other recruitment specialist I have worked with. It is the little things that matter and I was made to feel important and not like another CV in a pile.
