After four years at university in Liverpool and on exchange in Rhode Island, I emerged with a degree in American Studies. A brief spell in advertising sales for a newspaper group led to a move into finance recruitment.
I spent over 10 years recruiting in the Bristol, Leeds and Cardiff markets with a large multinational and then regional independent business. Over that time I progressed from raw graduate to Manager. I moved to London in August 2011 to take up a fantastic opportunity with Oakleaf where I now manage the permanent team recruiting into Professional Services. I’m excited to lead and be part of a great team in a developing organisation with a superb reputation for service and innovation. I recruit HR professionals into the Financial & Professional Services sector and am motivated by using my open approach, networks and focus on excellent customer service to build strong working relationships with clients and candidates.
Away from the office I like to play tennis (fairly averagely), travel, watch lots of sport and explore London with friends and my two children. My mildly fanatical support of Liverpool FC means I always keep a cautiously optimistic yet realistic eye out on their results.
