After graduating I fell into the world of recruitment. I initially recruited within the office support space before moving into change management and business transformation.
In 2013 I decided to explore the world and enjoyed it so much I didn’t go home! I joined Oakleaf to be a part of a market leading brand that is committed to providing a high touch service to its customers.
I am responsible for Oakleaf's interim business and recruit across the senior interim space looking after positions £50-110,000 across Tech, Media, Telco and B2B. I focus on developing relationships with people and place a strong emphasis on understanding an organisations culture and values to ensure a successful hire.
Outside of work I enjoy most things to do with food – dining out, cooking and drinking wine. I am a keen traveller and have been fortunate enough to travel to over 40 countries. I also enjoy skiing, hiking and gardening. I love animals and have a rescue cat who is adorable – Arthur.
Brittany Newell shares some key thoughts from our Commerce & Industry Roundtable this morning
Attracting talent starts from the candidate's first interaction with your company and leaves a lasting impression whether that process resulted in being hired – or not
The morning was chaired by Ama Afrifa-Tchie, People Experience Director at iTEch Media
Brittany understood our requirements immediately and within a couple of days I had some excellent candidates, several of whom could have filled the role. I have rarely found an agency as responsive and helpful as I have found Oakleaf - they certainly understand their specialism, which makes it all the easier for the hiring manager.

I read your first update where you mentioned that given that a number of your Oakleaf colleagues were on furlough, the Oakleaf service may not be as good as it could be.
I wanted to let you know how impressed I've been by Brittany. Really professional and seems to be working all hours to ensure that I (as the candidate) receive a great service.
I feel very supported and she had kept me up to date on all developments.
She is a real asset to the Oakleaf family.
