Jade Sweeney

Manager - Reward

After Graduating from Durham University with a BSc in Anthropology Jade immediately entered the recruitment world through completing a graduate training programme with a boutique regional search firm. She then made the big move to London where she has had the pleasure of recruiting for several years on both search and contingency assignments. She is proud to have worked both regionally and internationally across several sectors and with some of the most exciting brands in the world. Within Oakleaf Partnership Jade is part of a very successful Reward and Analytics division. She is responsible for extending Oakleaf's presence even further for mid level and senior reward professionals across all industry sectors. Jade is a senior consultant in the business and typical roles that she works on include: Reward manager, HRIS analyst and Head of reward and benefits.

John O'Brien

Senior Manager - Payroll Practice Lead

After spending 6 years in finance within an Australian Insurance firm and a brief spell in HR within a top five accounts practice, John embarked on a career as a professional rugby player for London Irish RFC. Sadly for him the injuries took their toll so he made the bold decision to move into Accounts & Finance recruitment in 2004. For some nine year, he was privileged enough to work for some of the major Accounting & Finance consultancies in the City and West End of London. John prides himself with being able to consult with clients and candidates at all levels and offer an honest and truthful approach to recruitment. John has been key to establishing the Payroll Division here at Oakleaf; typical roles that he works on include: EMEA Payroll Specialist, Payroll Controller, HR & Payroll Manager – EMEA, and EMEA Payroll Specialist

Jessica Phelan

Consultant - Financial & Professional Services

Jessica’s career in recruitment began shortly after university where she studied Journalism. For 3 years she worked for a boutique secretarial Recruitment Agency building and managing a team. Having heard of Oakleaf Partnership she approached them with a keen interest in developing her career further within a leading boutique HR recruitment specialist. Jessica says that what attracted her to the business was their unrivalled passion and expertise – ‘I look forward to thriving as a Consultant within an organisation that supports my growth and where I can learn from highly experienced Consultants and Managers that encourage and support my evolving career’. Jessica is a Consultant in the Finance and Professional Services team, she focuses on permanent vacancies such as HR Generalists, Internal Recruiters and L&D specialists.
