After graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in Mathematics, I trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with a local firm, working with them for over seven years. Since then I went on to open my own practice which I still run to date.

In March 2007 I joined Oakleaf to head the accounts department, and have continued with both my practice and work at Oakleaf since then.

Both of these careers keep me very busy and leave me little time for leisure, although I do manage to squeeze the odd game of squash in, followed by a lovely meal in a great restaurant. I also have four Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (one of each colour), which keep me fit on long walks in the countryside.
