Working with Simon Hunt at Oakleaf is always a pleasure, not only does he fully understand the brief, Simon also thinks outside the box and without fail delivers exceptional results. 

Oakleaf Partnership are well named. Why? Because they have truly acted as partners in all our HR recruitment activities. They get right what so many others get wrong and are real talent spotters. We know that we will only get a shortlist of candidates who match the spec or we have agreed to take a chance with, and this is essential in busy times when no-one has time to waste in getting the right person on board. 

In May 2007 I made the difficult decision to look for a new and more challenging job role. I approached Oakleaf partnership with no prior knowledge of their work and no recommendation from friends or colleagues.
I needn't have worried. My introduction with Simon Hunt at Oakleaf confirmed my choice of recruitment consultant was the right one.
Simon was quick to understand my background and most importantly the type of industry and sector I was looking to join. What I liked most about Simon was his ability to make realistic promises about the roles available to me and the fact that he continued to remain in contact with me throughout the search, even when there were no new opportunities to discuss. Since meeting Simon in May he successfully found me two roles, one of which I went on to take and during my initial first months in my new role Simon took the time to maintain the relationship with me and keep in contact to ensure the role was everything I was looking for. Simon has continued to be a key contact for me and should I be looking for another new opportunity he is the first person I would call. I have every confidence that Simon will deliver.  

Simon has provided services as a recruitment consultant to Man Group PLC for a number of years across a breadth of roles and seniority. I have also known Simon prior to joining Man where he supported me as the HR Director in the legal sector. Simon's strengths lie in his integrity and knowledge of the HR market in the City. He is a trusted advisor and is diligent in providing honest feedback which helps the recruitment process. He manages the client and the candidate well so expectations are met from both sides. Without doubt I believe he is one of the best recruiters in the HR market in London.  

This was the first time I have worked with Oakleaf and it was refreshing to find a company that understood the company, culture and brief in depth and then provided really strong candidates to match our requirements. This was a very effective assignment for us and took a lot of pressure and time off our hands because of the early understanding of our needs.
