James Courtney, Consultant
Born and bred in New Zealand, I studied business management at the Auckland University of Technology and went on to join one of the country's leading entertainment businesses. After spending a couple of years doing in-house recruitment and generalist HR I decided it was time to mix things up and purchased a one-way ticket to London. Undoubtedly, I have loved every minute of it.
During my time here I have crammed in excessive amounts of travel, have perfected my British accent (self-proclaimed only!) and have also managed to further my experience in HR and recruitment. In the middle of 2009 I took the opportunity to attempt to cure my craving for countries and took several months out to travel my way from London to Auckland - over ground (with a couple of short flights here or there!).
Upon my return to London I contacted Simon to see how he and Oakleaf could assist my search and to use Harriet's quote - the rest is History! Like most of the team, I'm into my sport and am always looking for my next squash opponent.
