After graduating from University with a degree in Languages, I spent some time living and working in Russia before moving to London to start my career. Like so many Recruiters, I was initially looking for temp work but ended up working for the recruitment firm directly!

I started off in multilingual and permanent recruitment for a leading secretarial firm, where I built my desk from scratch and stayed for over 9 years. I then moved to a firm specialising in Legal and Professional services recruitment, where I again handled their secretarial recruitment.

Whilst I really enjoyed recruiting on the softer skills required within secretarial recruitment, I decided I wanted to concentrate on more senior level roles and work for a more specialist, boutique firm. Therefore, the opportunity at Oakleaf was ideal. HR Recruitment for me is the perfect combination of professional recruitment where skill set, personality and organisational fit are also key. I will be concentrating on Permanent, Interim and Contract vacancies within Professional Services.

Away from work, I enjoy good food (though not necessarily cooking it myself!), learning languages and travelling.
