HR Shared Services Manager – Northampton
I am working with a leading global accountancy practice to recruit an HR Shared Services Manager to be based in Northampton.

The post holder will manage the HR Shared Services administration team, utilising strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire the team, driving a culture of high quality service, operational excellence and added value through a people centred and professional HR administration service to the firm.
The post holder undertakes the following duties:
• Manages resource planning within HRSS and ensures allocation of resources and responsibilities across the team to deliver business results and HR Shared Services calendar of activity accurately and promptly
• Ensures that all service activity is captured, recorded and analysed, to enable performance levels to be reviewed and drives consistent HRSS performance against service level agreements and metrics, ensuring the SLA is delivered to the prescribed terms, quality and specification
• Leads the development of end-to-end process maps covering all processes managed by HRSS, working with the Centres of Excellence to manage process changes
• Continuously improves the operational performance of all reporting teams against continually stretched KPI targets
• Embeds a culture of excellence and high quality, ensuring the team fully understand how their work contributes to delivering the firm's strategy
• Shares information to the team as required, communicating with clarity and confidence in a timely manner
• Delivers value adding management information and HRSS performance metrics to key stakeholders
• Manages risk, assessing and judging non-financial as well as financial outcomes
• Provides project support and management of projects within P&S as required and undertakes other tasks as required to meet the demands of the business
• Develops high quality HR processes which provide employees with a positive experience throughout their employment lifecycle
• Ensures the team understands and maintain confidentially of employee information and the firm's data
• Manages the integrity of HR data and ensure the HR systems are used to their full potential to support our reporting capability
• Manages the on-going development of processes and systems, ensuring our people are adequately trained to meet role requirements
The successful applicant will be CIPD qualified, degree level educated or equivalent and have a proven track record of managing an HR Shared Services team in conjunction with other senior leaders. A flexible communication style, personal credibility and a high degree of self awareness are necessary for this core management role.
Knowledge of Trent or other HR / integrated payroll systems is essential as is experience of managing both transactional HR and HR support desk ('call centre') and delivering value adding management information to measure performance.
Candidates with professional services backgrounds and HR generalist experience will be looked favourably upon.
Salary £45,000.
