A leading financial services firm is looking for a experienced Learning and Development Advisor to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have previous exposure to designing programme and will have previously delivered stand up training.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing and delivering training programmes across a broad spectrum tailoring each to the relevant audience.
  • Keeping  abreast of the most up to date training material introducing it to the training schemes as required.
  • Tailoring the training being delivered to the needs of the business.
  • Liaise closely with other Learning and Development Advisors in order to ensure that the training being delivered across the company is uniform and coordinated.
  • Evaluating the training ( by feedback or otherwise )being offered and amending as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that all training requests by managers and employees are dealt with in a timely and efficient fashion.

Key skills required:

  • Computer skills are essential
  • Effective negotiation skills – to ensure the most cost efficient training materials.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of seniority.
  • Ability to work within budgets and produce reports.
  • Experience of delivering and managing the training process.
